TERMS OF SALE

Reservation and deposit

Reservations are made either on the Maison Chevreuse website, or by telephone via a payment terminal, or on site. Any reservation can only be considered final upon receipt either of a deposit by bank transfer or remote payment via our payment terminal or PayPal, representing 50% of the total amount (the balance on arrival having the 'extra or by credit card), or the full 100% of the payment by bank transfer, our payment terminal, or by PayPal, either on site in cash or by credit card.

Cancellation

If canceled within 72 hours of your stay, the deposit will be retained. The amount of the deposit will be returned in the event of cancellation 30 days before the scheduled arrival date. In case of shortened stay, or no show, the deposit is not refundable and the entire stay is due.

Check-in / Check out

Arrival: 7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. If the host shows up the next day, the unoccupied room must be paid for by the host.

Departure before 2 p.m. on weekdays and before 3 p.m. on weekends. In case of late arrival, please contact us by phone the day before so that we can organize ourselves.

YOUR STAY

In order for guests to have a pleasant stay, we thank our hosts for ensuring the following:

1. Thank you for taking off your shoes in the entrance of the house. Light slippers are available.

2. Do not slam the doors.

3. The house is non-smoking, even on the balcony of the upstairs serenity room.

4. Do not light candles.

5. The kitchen is private.

6. Do not eat or store perishable food in the bedrooms or living room.

7. Do not put the sound of the music or your computer too loud so as not to disturb the other hosts.

8. Do not remove the interior furniture (chair, table, etc.) outside and ditto from the outside to the inside.

9. Not to let children go alone in the house or the garden. Parents must watch over their children. In the event of non-compliance with this fundamental obligation, the owner may ask the host to leave the premises. The Chevreuse house is not suitable for welcoming babies.

10. In the event of damage noted, the owner will ask for a supplement for compensation corresponding to cleaning, repair or replacement.

11. The keys to the house are to be handed over the day of your departure.

Classic breakfasts

They are taken on weekdays independently in the dining room. For any drink to warm up, toast, you have access to the kitchen (a space is dedicated to it), on weekends independently before 8:00 or served from 8:00 to 10:30. They can be served on the outdoor terrace in summer and in the dining room in winter.

Housekeeping

It is performed after each change of host. In order to preserve the environment, the linen is changed at the request of the hosts for long stays. All wet linen (towels, etc.) should be hung on the clothes rack provided for this purpose in the shower / bath rooms.

We provide each guest with the room key and, if necessary, the front door of the house. The host must make sure to close the doors behind him (bedroom, entrance door, gate). In any case, the owner cannot be held responsible for theft or damage due to non-compliance with this rule. In the event of loss or damage to the key or the remote control, the owner will request compensation corresponding to the replacement.

It is possible to park your vehicle along the sidewalk on the forest side, leaving the house without obstructing access to the gate of the house, or traffic, or 100 meters where there are locations. In case of damage (of the car or objects inside), of theft (of the vehicle or objects inside), the owner cannot be held responsible.
